Robbie Bickford (lead guitarist)- click here for photo, etc.
Robbie was a guitar phenom at a very young age. Like Bobby Thompson, Robbie began performing profesionally while in his mid-teens. Robbie was also brought into Steel Breeze for his personality on stage. A true rocker, Robbie has recorded and performed with Tesla and Y & T among others. Robbie was also a creative influence on Steel Breeze motion picture soundtracks. Combining musicianship, showmanship, and a knowledge of modern technology, Rob is a complete band member. He brings flare and vitality to the band.
Bobby Thompson (lead vocalist, songwriter)- click here for photo, etc.
A naturally talented musician, Bobby plays every instrument on stage. Performing in bands professionally since the age of 16, Bob brings years of experience to Steel Breeze at only 33 years of age. A classically trained singer with the love of R&B, Bobby was a finalist on "star search" in 1986. Inaddition to writing and producing Steel Breeze recordings since 1987, Bob has recorded projects with various artists, including Alan Holdsworth, Tony Mcalphine, and members from Journey, Boston, Night Ranger, and Pablo Cruise. Bob is a truly gifted artist with excellent audience appeal.
Paul Kraushaar (drummer, Producer)-
Paul is a lifelong musician. Paul obtained a college degree in music while working his way through school by performing in bands. As a former member of the hit band "The Association", Paul has recorded many albums and hit songs. Before joining is Steel Breeze in 1995, Paul had spent most of the previous 10 years as a full-time record producer and sound engineer. He has recorded over one dozen albums for various acts, including the 1990 Steel Breeze album, "Cry Thunder". Paul also plays keyboards, guitars and adds versatility to the band.
Rod Toner (keyboardist, band leader)- click here for photo, etc.
Unlike the other Steel Breeze members, Rod's musical background was primarily recreational. Never before having considered music as a serious pursuit, Rod started Steel Breeze in college for amusement and just couldn't stop. Abandoning a medical career for a musical one, Rod attained validity for his directing the band's music and business since its inception - Rod's contributions are diverse. He also has the distinction of having been in only 1 band ever, Steel Breeze. He considers tenacity and a strong work ethic to be his biggest asset.
