Technology Associates Inc.(remembered)
The EternaLight assets of Technology Associates, Inc.
have been transfered to EternaLights, LLC. All orders
and services issues will be handled by them.
History:
In 1992,
Thomas Hoops and Derone Bryson founded Technology Associates.
In 1994, their partnership incorporated under the name
of Technology Associates, Inc. Between 1993 and 2000,
Technology Associates successfully operated a small
chain of computer stores in the Reno/Sparks area which sold
and serviced computers.
Technology Associates was also one of the founding investors
in Great Basin Internet Services (GBIS), Northern Nevada's Largest
Independent internet service provider. In 1998, TA divested itself
of GBIS. In 2000, TA divested itself of it's retail stores
to pursue manufacturing of the EternaLight flashlight
and other related and unrelated products developed by Thomas Hoops
and Derone Bryson. In 2007,
the organization formerly known as Technology
Associates, Inc., founded by Thomas Hoops and
Derone Bryson in 1992 ceased to exist.
This site is still a
functioning sales platform for the EternaLight products
manufactured and sold by EternaLights, LLC. However,
the remainder of the site remains as it was in it's finality before
the closing of Technology Associates, Inc.
Today Mr. Bryson is privately employed as a Software Engineer. Mr. Hoops
is privately employed in a manufacturing company as
it's CTO. After working together since 1990, through their various
projects and partnerships, Mr. Hoops and Mr. Bryson are still best friends
and continue to explore new opportunities together.

There are NO good Presidents,
NO good senators and
NO good congressmen!

Imagine a room that people walk into, but nobody ever
comes out. This room is Washington. And, what nobody
realizes is that this room is filled with a poison gas
called corruption. So, you select your best, your strongest
man with the will of a hero, who even himself believes he
can enter the room of the "unknown" and save everyone.
But, when his time comes, he enters the room and, within
minutes, he is overcome by the fumes. He never returns and
everyone assumes they didn't send the right man, or a
strong enough man, never knowing that there is no "right"
man, and that strength has nothing to do with the ability
to return successful - the problem cannot be beat by strength
or righteousness.
Washington controls more wealth and
power than any other institution on this planet. As the
old saying goes, "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts
absolutely". Washington is absolute power. If a decent
man enters Washington with a decent thought, and he
has the strength to promote that thought despite the waves
of influence, he will not have the strength to survive
the force of influence.
How can we win?
- Don't send a man to Washington.
Men are not Islands. They have feelings, family,
items of importance which can be used against their
wills. The man to send to Washington can not be a
man, he must be a machine: A person with no family,
no loved ones, no desire to have loved ones, and a
remaining life span of no more than
four years.
- Don't send money to Washington.
The only way to remove power from Washington is
to starve it, not combat it - it's too powerful to
beat in a battle of force. By paying taxes, we
continue to give it the fuel which it
consumes for its own growth and perpetual, ever
increasing hunger for more.
- Are you insane-not pay my taxes?
No, I'm only stating a solution, I didn't say anyone
would ever feel strong enough to try it. Even if they
did, many people would have to feel the same way at the
same time to have any effect. Our system
is like a tumor that's spread too far. The operation
is likely to be deadly; so we'll get as much out of our
life as we can, then when the body finally
dies, so will the tumor.
- Is there another solution?
The Libertarian Party has the ideals that would solve
this problem, but men still have to go to Washington
with those ideals. A lot of these men would succumb to the
fumes, but maybe enough would survive long enough to
start a gradual (very gradual) change.
Some people consider the Libertarians radicals who want to
return to the ways of the old Wild West. When you really
examine their true platform, I think you'll see how much sense
it makes. But, for those of you who still disagree, consider
this: Everyone knows that no single man can save or ruin our
country. Our country is like a giant truck speeding down a
dead end road. Electing a few radicals might be the equivalent
of firing a couple of rounds into the engine block. It may not
get the truck going in the right direction, but it might at
least slow it down.
- Vote Libertarian in '2000!
THAT's RIGHT - THAT's what I said when I wrote this back in 1998.
Here we are, 2007 now look at us. So
let me revise this vote Ron Paul 2008!
If Ron Paul scares you, ask yourself this: Which scares you more, Ron Paul
or more of the same? More of the same will bring us down soon. More of the
same is anyone who's voting record shows they will just deliver more of the
same. Check Ron Paul's voting he is NOT more of the same!
Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul Ron Paul!
I did things different this year. I made a campaign contribution to him early
in hopes it will make enough of a difference that I will get the chance to
vote for him.
